allegiance to the flag of our country.
They then visited with the Child Focus Board
of Directors to discuss the programs they
conduct and to better understand child
issues.

Wednesday, January 3, 2007 -One of Gov. Bob Taft’s last acts as governor
was to sign House Bill 521 which Joe
Introduced. This bill sets the State’s
Energy Efficiency Policy. The measure
institutes public policy that will save both
fiscal and substantive resources of the state
well into the future.

How
fast are you at your job? I’ll bet it is nowhere near as
fast as the guys I spent last Friday with. I’m
talking about the men and women of the Ohio Air National
Guard in Springfield
, Ohio . This was a day I will not soon forget. I was given the
opportunity to “shadow” and learn what a couple of job
positions do at that air base. And yes, I sat behind
the pilot in an F16 jet fighter as he put his magnificent
machine through its paces. See

Joe
Uecker takes oath of office Monday, January 4,
2005, administered by John Husted,
Speaker of the House while a group of 65+
residents from his district look on.
Thanks to Bill Knepp and the Meijer Tuesday
morning bunch, 55 seniors chartered a bus to
come to Columbus to see Joe sworn in.
Joe had the biggest contingent from home of
any or the 99 members of the house being sworn
