Uecker (R-Miami Township) was recently elected to serve on the
National Assembly of Sportsmen’s
Caucus (NASC) Executive Council
while attending the annual NASC
Legislative Summit held in Clinton, SC. The NASC is a bi-partisan association of
legislators from all across the
nation whose mission is to
provide a voice for the outdoor
sports men and women and has become
the most respected and trusted
hunting and fishing organization
in the political arena.

Students Visit State Legislators and Attend
College Access Breakfast
BATAVIA,
OH (April 23, 2008) –Four
local high school students who are
participants in TRIO programs at UC Clermont
College, shadowed state legislators
recently. They also attended the Partners in
College Access and Success Policy Breakfast
at the Statehouse in Columbus.

Thermometer Exchange Program Underway. The Solid Waste
Management Districts of Butler, Clermont, and Hamilton County are
partnering with Duke Energy, the Ohio EPA, and local Health
Departments to encourage residents to Catch the Fever and exchange
their mercury thermometers for a FREE digital thermometer.
The exchange program will take place from May 21st to June 21st,
while supplies last. Clermont County General Health
